The 1st<\/sup> push-button tap<\/h3>\n

The user simply presses the push-button to start the flow of water, and it automatically shuts off after a set time.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our mechanical timed-flow taps are all fitted with a cartridge with return spring and a self-cleaning synthetic ruby. This patented technology ensures that both the timer and flow remain constant, and guarantees the integrity of the mechanism and its durability. PRESTO taps are the most reliable in their market. Thanks to its outstanding performance, PRESTO technology has obtained a number of standards and certifications around the world, starting with France, its country of origin. In France, PRESTO is the brand of shared tapware with the largest offer of taps certified according to French standards (NF). The Start and Stop tap<\/strong><\/h3>\n

To optimise the amount of water used, we have developed the Start\/Stop function.<\/em><\/p>\n

The flow of water is controlled by simply touching the detection surface. The flow of water stops after a programmed time or at any time by touching the detection surface a second time.<\/em><\/p>\n

We refer to it as a \u201cdetection surface\u201d rather than a \u201cbutton\u201d because there is no mechanical action required to open the tap. This method of starting the flow of water is effortless and easily understood by any user.<\/p>\n

Ideal for mid-range budgets, this technology is positioned halfway between our mechanical timed-flow and sensor timed-flow technologies.<\/p>\n

40 years of touchless sensor taps at PRESTO<\/h3>\n

Even more hygienic, our touchless sensor taps deliver precisely the right amount of water needed for each use. The tap does not need to be touched, as the flow of water automatically starts whenever hands are detected by the sensor, and automatically stops when they are withdrawn.<\/em><\/p>\n

PRESTO has over 40 years of experience developing electronic tapware with infrared technology, which is also known as touchless sensor tapware. We offer this tapware in our washbasin, shower, urinal and flush product lines. <\/em><\/p>\n

The principle of avoiding any contact between the user and the device significantly limits bacterial growth and transmission between users. Touchless sensor tapware perfectly meets the most demanding hygiene criteria for sensitive facilities or during periods of highly contagious epidemics.<\/p>\n

LYNX is the name of the latest generation of cell developed by PRESTO, which offers more precise movement detection and interacts with the taps via an interface for controlling and configuring the various settings.<\/p>\n

    MasterMix\u00ae technology avoids any cross-feeding between the DHW (domestic hot water) and DCW (domestic cold water), which eliminates the need for the non-return valves usually used for cross-feeding.<\/p>\n

    The temperature is controlled because the thermostatic cartridge prevents any flow of water in the event of a power cut (compliance with French standard NF EN 1111). The dual temperature limiter limits the mixed outlet temperature to 38\u00b0C and 41\u00b0C. The body remains cold.<\/p>\n

    The thermostatic cartridge can be changed without having to cut off the water. The lever just has to be left in the \u201cclosed\u201d position.<\/p>\n
